The ALiEn2 and ALiEn2 Expert comes with a universal mounting bracket that attaches to the bolts coming out of the back of the enclosure. This unique bracket accommodates almost any mounting configuration you can think of.
Enclosure and Bracket Overview
The controller enclosure is equipped with four (4) studs on the back of the enclosure. Each stud has a nut and washer provided.
The universal mounting bracket has holes punched in the four (4) corners that align with enclosure studs. All of the other holes and slots are intended for a variety of mounting options.
Hardware to mount the bracket to the wall, pipe, or valve is not provided.
Mounting Options
Valve Mount
To mount the controller to a valve, remove two (2) bolts from the valve, slide them through the holes shown below, and fasten them back into the valve.
The top and bottom valve mount holes have slightly different spacings to accommodate different manufacturers of valves. If the holes don’t quite line up with the bolt pattern, rotate the bracket 180 degrees and try again.
Wall Mount
To mount the controller to a wall, line up two (2) of the highlighted holes to either a vertical or horizontal stud.
Vertical Pipe Mount
To mount the controller to a vertical pipe, use a pipe clamp attached across the slots shown below. The slots allow you to use the necessary size pipe clamp.
Horizontal Pipe Mount
To mount the controller to a horizontal pipe, use a pipe clamp attached across the slots shown below. The slots allow you to use the necessary size pipe clamp.
