The ALiEn2 Expert has a number of pressure inputs that can be used for optimization. To make use of these, follow the steps below.
Enable Pressure Devices
Follow these steps to enable and configure a pressure device.
Enable Pressure/Flow Optimization
By default, enabled devices will simply report their values through the screen and/or Modbus. If you wish to optimize on these values, you must first enable optimization.
- Press install
- Navigate to Optimize
- Change Optimization Type to Pressure/Flow
Turn on and Configure the Specific Optimization
You can use one or more devices to optimize each portion of the cycle. As each well is different, you must enable each mode for a given portion of the cycle.
Open Pressure Optimization
The following optimizations are available to open the well at the end of Close if the appropriate devices are enabled:
- Open Casing Pressure
- Open Tubing Pressure
- Open Casing – Line Differential Pressure
- Open Load Factor
Close Pressure Optimization
The following optimizations are available to close the well during Afterflow if the appropriate devices are enabled:
- Close Casing Pressure – Absolute
- Close Casing Pressure – Rate Drop
- Close Differential Pressure
- Close Flow Rate
