The plunger lift controller has a built in battery charger that uses the provided solar panel to recharge the battery. If for any reason, an approved battery does need to be charged (ie: loss of solar power source), ETC has built an inexpensive wall charger that falls within the battery parameters and has a preinstalled plug to fit the connector that is crimped onto the battery.

We’re mounting a ET-12001-1007-0002 controller in Patagonia Argentina. The solar charge is insufficient, we need to add a BATTERY CHARGER WALL PLUG, but it’s not clear how to perform the connection. There’s an article in your site that says: the charger has a preinstalled plug to fit the connector that is crimped onto the battery. But if it is connected the charger, how it the battery connected to the controller? Does it have two connectors? Can the charger be fed by 220VAC 50hz? Finally, is room available inside the box to mount it? Any Din rail to mount a wall plug?

The wall plug that we have is only intended to charge the battery. There is currently not a way to connect an external power source to the controller. As well, this is a closed system and the solar panel that is provided should only be used to maintain the CSA certification.
